Privacy Policy — Daylight

Daylight collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.

Information the app collects

None. The app does not gather personal information, device identifiers, usage statistics, crash reports or location data. Nothing about you or your device is recorded, profiled or transmitted.

Information the app shares

None, because none is collected. No data is sold, rented or disclosed to anyone, including us. There are no third-party SDKs in the app.

Permissions

Daylight requests no Android permissions. It has no internet permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere even in principle.

What is stored on your phone

Only the name of the place you last selected is saved, so the app opens where you left it. Your actual location is never requested or determined. This information stays in the app's private storage on your device. It is never uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes it. If you have Android's own backup turned on, your phone's operating system may include this data in your personal Google backup — that backup belongs to you and is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described in the app's release notes on Google Play.
